Samuel Associates Welcomes Former RCMP Assistant Commissioner Barbara Fleury

Ottawa-based government strategy firm Samuel Associates continues to grow its professional team of national security and public safety senior advisors to support clients.

Samuel Associates announces today that former RCMP Assistant Commissioner, Barbara Fleury joins the firm as a Senior Security Associate. Barbara will be responsible for providing strategic advice and organizational analysis to clients in various industries, including Government, Public Safety, Cybersecurity, Identity Management and Professional Development and Training.

"Barbara is a well-respected and experienced leader in the policing and public safety community. She brings over 37 years of strategic, operational experience and knowledge of Canada's federal policing and international security commitments. Barbara will be an important addition to our strategic advisory services focusing on helping clients navigate national security issues and opportunities,"

Barbara is a graduate of Simon Fraser University, where she holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Criminology. She has also completed the Executive Development in Policing Program and the United Nations Senior Mission Leaders Course. The Governor General of Canada has recognized her career in federal policing and appointed Barbara as an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces.
