Biography

Brigadier General (retired) Mark Larsen enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1988 after serving six years as an Air Cadet. Serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Logistics Officer, he has been employed at Squadron, Wing, Operational and Strategic Headquarters. Mark deployed to Afghanistan as Officer Commanding an Operational Mentoring and Liaison Team, working with the Afghan National Army. He has commanded the Headquarters of 1 Canadian Air Division and Canadian NORAD Region, served as Aide de Camp to the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, and been Director of the Royal Canadian Air Force Reserve, Director Air Personnel Strategy at the Royal Canadian Air Force Headquarters in Ottawa. Mark retired from the military as the Deputy Director General Military Personnel Strategic and Director Strategic Development in Chief Military Personnel.
