Environment and the Greening of Defence

Canadian National Defence activities account for a substantial portion of a government’s total greenhouse gas emissions. As with all governments, the Canadian federal government is working on policies to significantly reduce and diversify its energy consumption while reducing GHG emissions and other pollutants.
