Samuel Associates Sponsors the Vimy Gala

Samuel Associates is pleased to be sponsoring this year's Vimy Gala as well as celebrating the presentation of the Vimy Award to our Senior Defence Associate, Lieutenant-General (Ret) J.O. Michel Maisonneuve CMM, CSM, CD.

The Vimy Gala, is a black-tie evening reception and dinner, and has consistently held its reputation of being the premiere defence and security recognition gala in Canada. Attended by the defence and security sector's most leading industry executives, flag and general officers, and senior public servants. The evening is held during Remembrance Week to honour of our fallen heroes, and celebrate people in Canada who serve their country in a variety of ways, and whose daily actions are a tribute to those who have served before them.

The Vimy Award is presented annually to a Canadian who has made an outstanding, lifetime contribution to our national security and defence and to preserving our democratic values. The selection committee for the award includes the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Chief of the Defence Staff, and the Deputy Minister of Defence.
