As a Senior Associate, you will be part of a team that drives our advanced technology consulting practice, specifically within the government sector. You will leverage your deep understanding of Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Quantum to provide strategic and technical advice to our government clients. You will also play a crucial role in advocating for our clients' interests and shaping government policies and practices in these domains.
1. Provide strategic guidance on the Canadian government's RFIs, RFQs and RFPs concerning advanced technologies such as Cloud Computing, AI, and Quantum within the federal government context.
2. Lead engagement and relationship-building between clients and government officials, helping them understand and utilize these advanced technologies to meet their strategic and operational needs.
3. Influence and shape policy discussions, providing expert advice on emerging technology trends and the impact they may have on federal government department and agency policies and operations.
4. Review client RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, technical reports, and policy briefings, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams in Samuel Associates to align strategies and improve client service delivery.
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Policy, or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
2. At least five years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on the government sector and advanced technologies.
3. Proven knowledge and understanding of advanced technologies such as Cloud Computing, AI, and Quantum Computing.
4. Experience advising or consulting on government policy, particularly in the technology domain.
5. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas in a clear, compelling manner to non-technical audiences.
6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
1. An advanced degree in a related field (Masters, PhD) is a plus.
2. Proven track record of influencing policy decisions within the government sector.
3. Certifications in Cloud Computing, AI, Quantum Computing, or related technologies.
4. Experience with government contract acquisition and procurement processes.
